Yes, feel free to link to any page! For your convenience on most pages you will find the HTML markup to create a link at the bottom of the page like this:
Simply copy and paste into your own website.
It's always nice if you let us know you've linked to our site, but it's not obligatory.
Please refer to the copyright and licensing information at the bottom of each individual page. See also Can I link to your site? above.
Images are available under a variety of licenses. By clicking on an individual image you can find out more about the authorship of that image. Some images may be public domain; most are available under the GNU Free Documentation License or similar.
Not completely. We are working towards a 100% standards compliant site which will validate as XHTML and use CSS for layout and design. We would like it to be accessible to all users regardless of browsing technology. Unfortunately some licensed content is not yet available in well-formed HTML.
We aim to use the latest HTML and CSS techniques to provide a standards-compliant site. Unfortunately these do not work properly with Netscape 4 and as this browser is no longer widely used we are unable to dedicate any resources to its support.
We recommend that you use a current browser such as Netscape 7, Mozilla / Firefox or Opera. For Mac OS X users we also recommend Safari.
For users of older computer hardware we especially recommend Opera, which requires fewer resources than Mozilla-based browsers
OK, tell us about it. We'll need the following info:
If you can send us a screenshot that would help enormously.
We do test design and functionality on a wide range of browsers and operating systems but cannot cover every combination.
We use a limited amount of JavaScript to enhance your browsing experience (as the marketing experts say). The site will however function without JavaScript. Some adverts may also utilise JavaScript. We do not and will not use JavaScript or other technologies such as ActiveX to disrupt your browser through popups, window resizing etc.
To be honest we're not at all interested in who you are. We do not actively collect any personal data. Any data we do have (such as your email address if you email us) will be kept confidential and at no time passed to any third parties. We maintain a proactive IT security policy and do not use operating systems vulnerable to software intrusion, including all Windows versions.
All site accesses are logged for statistical purposes. This is usual practice for large websites. This means your IP address and information about the kind of browser you use is recorded. There is no way we can connect this information with personal information such as your name and address.

Unfortunately we can't be sure which time zone you're in. We offer our services globally and don't wish to prefer any one region, so we use the lowest common denominator, UTC (also known as Greenwich Mean Time or GMT). That means if you're in the Americas, you might see tomorrow's date quite often, and if you're in Asia you'll see yesterday's date a lot. Europeans and Africans will generally see more-or-less the right date.
