The A59 is a major road in England. It runs from Liverpool north east via Aintree, Maghull, Ormskirk, Burscough and Preston, past Clitheroe and through Gisburn, then bypasses Skipton and continues past Bolton Abbey and Harrogate and through Knaresborough before terminating at York.
