Anna Pavlovna of Russia: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

Grand Duchess Anna Paulowna of Russia (1795 - 1865). Daughter of Emperor Paul and Empress Marie of Russia. In 1816, she married Prince William VII of Orange, later King William II of the Netherlands. In 1840, on her father-in-law William I's abdication, she became queen-consort of the Netherlands. She was the mother of William III.
