Glenn Strange (August 16 1899 - September 20 1973) was an American actor. Most of his film appearances were in Western movies. He is also known for his appearances as Universal Studios' Frankenstein's Monster (the role created by Boris Karloff in 1931's Frankenstein), which he began in 1944.
