KwK 43 L71: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

The Kwk 43 L71 was an 88mm tank gun used by the German Wehrmacht, during World War II. This was the primary weapon of the Pzkw VI Tiger II. This weapon, at 6.4m, was longer than the Pzkw VI Tiger I's KwK 36. At a range of 1,830m, it was capable of penetrating 150mm of armor.
