Lespedeza is a legume-bearing plant, also known as bush clover or Japanese clover. It is used as a foraging crop in the southern United States, and as a means of soil enrichment and for prevention of erosion. Growing up to 18 inches, it has branched stems, tripartite leaves, and small pinkish flowers.
