Philippe de Carteret III was Seigneur of Sark from 1643 to 1663.

Philippe de Carteret was born in 1620 and succeeded to the Seigneurie of Sark on the death of his father Philippe de Carteret II.

During the English Civil War he acted as lieutenant to George Carteret, and was knighted on the beach of St Aubin's Bay in Jersey by the exiled Charles, Prince of Wales in 1645.

In 1661 he became Bailiff of Jersey.
