Torontál is the name of a historic administrative county (comitatus) in present-day southern Hungary, western Romania and northern Serbia (eastern Vojvodina). The capital of the county was Zrenjanin.
The northernmost part of the county (a small area south of Szeged) is now part of the Hungarian county Csongrád, the north-east of the county is now part of the Romanian county Timiş, and the south (including Zrenjanin) is now part of the Serbian autonomous region Vojvodina.
