A483 road: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

The A483 is a major road in the United Kingdom, running from Swansea in Wales to Chester in England.

From the M4 motorway just east of Swansea, it travels north via Ammanford, Llandeilo, Llandovery, Llanwrtyd Wells, Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells, Newtown and Welshpool. It then enters England to bypass Oswestry before diving back into Wales past Wrexham and re-entering England to end at Chester.
