The A71 is a major road in Scotland. It runs south west from Edinburgh through Wilkieston and south of Livingston, Whitburn and Wishaw, then on via Strathaven, Darvel, Galston and Kilmarnock before terminating at Irvine on the North Ayrshire coast.
