The A83 is a major road in Scotland, running west from Tarbet on the western shore of Loch Lomond, where it splits from the A82. It continues to Inveraray, then heads south down the west shore of Loch Fyne through Lochgilphead and Tarbert, before swapping to the west shore of Kintyre and running through Kennacraig and Tayinloan and then terminating on the east coast at Campbeltown.
