Historic Angus

Angus is one of the historic counties and also one of 32 unitary council regions in Scotland and a Lieutenancy Area. The unitary council region borders onto Aberdeenshire, Perth and Kinross and the City of Dundee. Main industries: agriculture and fishing.

The traditional county borders Kincardineshire to the north-east, Aberdeenshire to the north, Perthshire to the west. Southwards, it faces Fife across the Firth of Tay.
