Banteay Srei is part of the temple complex in
Angkor,
Cambodia and was contructed by
Rajendravarman II (reigned 944-968) and
Jayavarman V(reigned 968-1001)
Although the temple is small, it is renown for its intricate carvings.
The carvings in Banteay Srei depict scenes from the Ramayana.
