History

The company was founded by Sherman Fairchild.

During the 1950s and 1960s it built 206 Fokker Friendships as the F-27 and FH227.

In 1996 after the Dornier take over the Company renamed as FairchildDornier.

Today, the company is known is M7 Aerospace.
