Flag of Moldova: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

The national flag of Moldova (Moldavia) is a tricolor of blue (haist), yellow (centre) and red (fly) (ie. from left to right). It also features the Moldavian coat-of-arms (eagle holding shield with image of an ox), to distinguish it from the Romanian tricolor that has the same colours. The Moldavian language is the same as Romanian, thus the similarity of flags.
