God Ate My Homework: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

God Ate My Homework was a band located in Berkeley, California. They were one of the first bands to release their music for free over the Internet using the MP3 format. Members of the band also developed the Free Music Public License and began work on a studio recording software package for GNU/Linux called GAMH Studio.

God Ate My Homework's song lyrics were often about Internet culture, as in "She Was Probably A Guy", a cautionary song about the anonymity of chat rooms, and "Pirate This Song", a sea shanty about music piracy as opposed to sea piracy.
