ITrip: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

The iTrip is an FM transmitter for Apple Computer's popular iPod.

The iTrip has a range of about fifty feet, and can broadcast on almost any desirable FM frequency. The iTrip draws power from the remote control port on the iPod, and thus prevents the use of the wired remote or extra headphones.

The original iTrip was for the iPods with the FireWire dock connector on top, and the new iTrip is designed for the dock connector iPod.
