Kowloon Tong: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

Kowloon Tong (九龍塘; pinyin: jiu3 long2 tang2) is an area in Hong Kong's Kowloon peninsula, part of Kowloon City district.

In Kowloon Tong, there is Beacon Hill (畢架山) - 457 m high, Festival Walk (又 一 城) - a shopping center, and Waterloo Road goes from here to Yau Ma Tei.

Education

The Hong Kong Baptist University and City University of Hong Kong are located in Kowloon Tong.

Transportation

Kowloon Tong is served by the stations of the same name of the KCR railway (East Rail) and of the MTR metro system (Kwun Tong Line). The two lines interchange here.
