La notte is a 1960 Italian feature film directed by Michelangelo Antonioni, starring Marcello Mastroianni, Jeanne Moreau and Monica Vitti. It is generally regarded as the second in a loose trilogy of films on the theme of "modern alienation", following L'avventura (The Adventure), and followed by L'eclisse (Eclipse).
