The Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore is a statutory board under the Ministry of Transport.
The LTA has a government-designated monopoly on ground transportation public works projects in Singapore, including MRT lines and expressways. On completion, operation and maintenance rights are sold to commercial companies.
One of the LTA's responsibilities is the construction and maintenance of Singapore's Electronic Road Pricing system.
