Mark Adam Foley (born September 8 1954), American politician, has been a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives since 1995, representing the 16th District of Florida. He was born in Newton, Massachusetts, was educated at Palm Beach Community College, and was a business owner, and a member of the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate before entering the House. It is widely believed that Foley is a closeted homosexual.
