MozBin: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

MozBin was a website in existence from early 1998 to 14 November 1998, independent of mozilla.org, that offered compiled builds (programs that can be run straight after being downloaded) of the then nascent Mozilla web browser. It became obsolete when mozilla.org started offering their own precompiled builds. However, the site lived on as it merged with MozillaZine, which provided an easy index to download the builds from.
