Oakland Zoo: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

The Oakland Zoo is relatively small for a city of its size, but has more modern displays for such a well-established zoo. Many of its animals are kept in relatively "natural" habitats, and further efforts along those lines are in the works. Near-future projects include a new Children's Zoo area, and an expansion/upgrade of the elephant exhibit.
