Ozzfest: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

Ozzfest is an annual hard rock/heavy metal tour organized by Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon. It was started after Ozzy was told he wasn't good enough to play at Lollapalooza. The tour is traditionally composed of two stages. The first stage usually consists of the headlining artists, these are usually the most popular and well-known artists out of the bands performing. The second stage has mostly lesser-known or newer groups, with additional bands rotating in.

Most of the time, Ozzfest is held in large, outdoor stadiums, due to the large number of attendants.

Ozzfest 2004 begins in Hartford, Connecticut on July 10, 2004.
