Paaliaq (moon): Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

Paaliaq ("PAW lee ahk") is a natural satellite of Saturn. It was discovered by Brett J. Gladman, et al. in 2000, and given the temporary designation S/2000 S 2. It is also designated as Saturn XX. It is named after a giant in Inuit mythology.

Paaliaq is about 19 kilometers in diameter, and orbits Saturn at an average of 15,199,000 kilometers.
