The Palace of Bonde (Bondeska palatset), was built as the private residence of the Lord High Tresurer of Sweden, Gustaf Bonde. It was errected in Stockholmbetween 1662 and 1673 on the islet Riddarholmen close to the Royal Palace. The cheif architects were Nicodemus Tessin and Jean De la Vallée. In 1949 the Supreme Court was moved from the Royal Palace to this former private palace.
