Pickering (2003 population approximately 92,000) is (as of 2003) a city located east of Toronto in Durham Region, Ontario, Canada.

The local economy is dominated by the Pickering nuclear power plant, and the adjacent Windmill. Several other manufacturing and high-tech firms are located in the town. It borders on Toronto and economically part of the "Greater Toronto Area" (GTA).

South: Ajax, Lake Ontario
