Robert Anthony Plant (born 20 August 1948, West Bromwich, West Midlands, England) is a rock singer. He was a member of one of the most popular and diverse bands in music history, Led Zeppelin. He was known for his powerful style with a wide vocal range that embodied folk/blues passion at its finest. Following the band's breakup after the death of their drummer John Bonham, Plant pursued a successful solo career.
