Romagna is an Italian historical region which approximately corresponds to modern Emilia-Romagna region's south-eastern portion. Traditionally, it is limited by the Apennines to the south-west, the Adriatic to the east, and the rivers of Reno and Sillaro to the north and west. The region's major cities include Forlì, Cesena, Faenza, Imola, Ravenna, Rimini and San Marino (a separate nation inside the Romagna historical region).
