© Department of National Defence

Royal Roads Military College (RRMC), a Canadian military college (1941 to 1995), was located in Hatley Park, just outside Victoria, British Columbia. Currently it is being used as the campus for Royal Roads University, an alternative university that offers mostly post-graduate programs. The centrepiece of the campus is Hatley Castle, constructed in the early part of the 20th century by B.C. coal baron James Dunsmuir for his wife, Laura.
