Senate Internal Security Subcommittee: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

The Senate Internal Security Subcommittee or more commonly know as SISS was a key player in the role of finding communists during the McCarthy era in America.

SISS secret commandos, called "sissies" at the time made raids on alleged Communist organizations with silenced machine guns and grenades.
