Sharon Joy Grierson (born 4 May 1951), Australian politician, has been an Australian Labor Party member of the Australian House of Representatives since November 2001, representing the Division of Newcastle, New South Wales. She was born in Newcastle, New South Wales, and was educated at Newcastle Teachers College. She was a teacher and school principal before entering politics.
