The slurve is a type of pitch in baseball. It is a breaking pitch somewhere between a curveball and a slider. Its motion is closer to a curveball but less exaggerated, and it has a higher speed like a slider. It is a somewhat rare pitch, because unless it is thrown extremely well it can act like a hanging curve and be easy for batters to hit.
