The Southern Review is a publication of Louisiana State University. It consists of submitted written works. The Southern Review publishes poetry, fiction, interviews, critical essays, book reviews, and excerpts from larger works. Emphasis is placed on contemporary works, specializing in the culture of the southern United States and it's history.
It was first published by LSU in 1934. It remains in publication today.
