Stephen Kinzer: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

Stephen Kinzer is an American author and newspaper reporter. He came to prominence during the 1980s when he covered Central America for the New York Times, one of the most prestigious papers in the U.S. In 1990, he was promoted to bureau chief of the Berlin bureau and covered the growth of Eastern and Central Europe as they emerged from Soviet rule. He has also written several nonfiction books, about Turkey, Central America, and the oil industry in Iran.
