Strategic Health Authority: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

A Strategic Health Authorities or SHA is part of the structure of the NHS. England is split into 28 Strategic Health Authorities, set up in 2002.

The SHA is further split in various types of NHS trust that take responsibility for running the different NHS services locally.
