Susan Kramer: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

Susan Kramer (born 1950) is a London businesswoman and Liberal Democrat politician. She was educated at St Paul’s Girls School, Oxford University, where she was President of the Oxford Union, and took her MBA at the University of Illinois.

In 2000 she stood as a candidate in the election for Mayor of London against Ken Livingstone and others.

In March 2003 she was beaten by Simon Hughes in the important race to become the Liberal Democrats' official candidate for Mayor of London.

In September 2003 she was selected as the PPC for the constituency of Richmond Park in South West London when the sitting Liberal Democrat MP, Dr Jenny Tonge decided not to stand for re-election.
