The Dingleys: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

The Dingleys was South Africa's first television soap opera, when the South African Broadcasting Corporation introduced television in 1976. Set in Pietermaritzburg in Natal (now KwaZulu-Natal), its cast was primarily white, and was known for its amateurish acting.
