In the fictional television series Charmed, The Source is an evil being.

The Source is known as the Source of ALL Evil. The lord of the Demon Underworld, the Source practically has limitless powers. He rules over all evil: demons, warlocks, dark witches, and priests.

The Source handpicks the chosen ones to be the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He also handpicks assassins to go against the Charmed Ones.

The original Source was vanquished by the Charmed Ones. However, the magic and essence of the Source had possessed Cole and corrupted him completely, bending him and Phoebe's will to his own will. He (Cole) as the Source was vanquished by the Charmed Ones.
