Thursday is an emo band from New Brunswick, New Jersey, formed in 1997.

Thursday has been one of the largest bands in the undergroud scene. They have defined a new sound and pushed the edge of "rock" into new areas, all while gaining a huge fanbase. A very notable achievement of Thursday has been the advancement of an artistic culture. Many of their songs are affected by books and art and world events. They are re-createing an evironment that was prevaalent in the early 20th centuries with in artist in Europe, and should be commended for such a major advacement.

They have had the opportunity to play with such bands as At the Drive-In, Boy Sets Fire, Hot Water Music, and AFI. They were also on the Warped Tour.
