Trolltech (formerly known as Quasar Technologies) is a computer software company from Oslo, Norway. They provide software development tools and libraries, as well as expert consulting services.

Their flagship product is Qt (Quasar Toolkit), the multi-platform, C++ Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) toolkit.

Trolltech was founded by Eirik Eng and Haavard Nord in 1994. The core team of designers at Trolltech started developing Qt in 1992, and since then Qt has steadily expanded and improved.

The popular free Unix desktop environment KDE uses Trolltech's Qt library. Trolltech also employs several KDE developers.

Trolltech is mainly owned by its own employees.
