UK: Meaning (information, definition, explanation, facts)

The Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS) in the United Kingdom is a subdivision of the UK devised by Eurostat.

The NUTS level 1 codes start with UKC rather than UK1 because the new list reflected the revised regions of England and local government changes throught the UK.
